Day 96 – Savanah

Posted in People, Places by Dave on April 12, 2010

You can’t go to Green Turtle Cay without meeting Eddie Bodie. He has a huge personality and looks a lot like Mike Tyson but has a loud booming voice. He really went out of his way to ensure we all had a good time.  He’s a minister in the local church and all around great guy. He also happens to run a fishing charter service.

On Day 96, I went fishing with Eddie, my Dad and brother. Less than a mile off shore we had 4 lures trolling. Within 15 minutes of the start of fishing, we had a quadruple hook up of Mahi-Mahi. We ended up with about 10 mahi-mahi and a Wahoo. We lost even more fish than we caught.

He was happy because he had a big BBQ coming up for his church and he could feed everyone with what we caught. As a nice gesture, he came to our house a few nights later and made us all diner with the fish we caught. That man can cook too.

This picture is of Ally and Savanah sharing a good laugh.  The kids entertained themselves all day while we fished. Savanah sure has a lot of her dad’s personality.
