Day 151 – more swimming

Posted in children, People by Dave on June 1, 2010

I have wanted to try this for a while. The camera is in a 10 gallon aquarium. It’s difficult to keep the glass clean and get the lens half in the water and half out. It’s always challenging to keep the kids still too and even more important when they’re splashing water around your camera. I’m going to redo this at some point.

I love this shot. So cool! Your pool looks like the ocean. The girls look like they’re both waiting for something terrible to happen to your camera while it’s halfway submerged, albeit in a fish tank. Or, did you tell them NO WAVES!? Regardless, a very cool shot depicting the arrival of summer.

A camera in a fish tank? LOL! I love the underwater effect. Imagine the possibilities! ..maybe find a fold-up tank and stick it in yr camera bag. Surely they’ll have one on eBay, right? Those fish-eye lens…you should get one. You’d do well with it, i betcha!

Great shot, creative, and very brave. I’ve not sure I’d be willing to take the risk
